Breaking up Bigger Jobs
You may find yourself with a big project and want to hand it off to Workphorce to connect with the solution, however, it is better to analyze the job you have and divided into smaller portions that can be trade-specific. This allows for better quality and you’re more likely to find laborers.
🌟 Pro Tip: When you divide your job, verify that your dates will line up (e.g.: if you’re remodeling a house, make you get someone there to put up the drywall before you schedule someone to come paint the house).
Selecting specific trades
By selecting a specific trade, you’re making sure that only those who are skilled see and bid on the job.
Limiting the Duration of Job
By creating smaller jobs, the duration of a job should decrease. This helps laborers plan out their work weeks with more precision.
Clarifying details
Is there a specific time the laborer has to arrive the next day or a time when he has to leave? Does the laborer have to bring his/her own tools or can you provide them? Is there a pet that they need to know about? As you write out the details for your job, try to think of everything that will help the laborer perform the job as accurately as possible.
Inviting Users
If you’ve previously worked with a laborer on another project and liked the results, you can invite him to bid on your job. He/she will receive a notification and can decide to bid, if not other users can still bid on the job as long as they have the trade needed.

When a Contractor accepts your bid, there are certain steps you need to take to perform a job successfully.
Before starting a job, make sure that the Contractor has funded the job (you’ll see a label on the job that says “Job Funded”).
On the day of the job, go to the job’s address and take pictures of the area you’ll be working on.
To take pictures, make sure your Location Services are turned on so that the app can register your location.
Do your work as the specifications say and take progress pictures to show the work you’ve done.
Once you finish, take the final pictures on the app and click on “Finish Job”.
The Contractor will be notified that you’ve finished, verify the job, review and rate your job, and release the funds.
To receive the funds, rate and review your experience with the Contractor.
